I really wanted to do more with this vector, but time ran out for me. I have to bring my laptop back to bestbuy for repairs today (in about an hour or so), So i had no choice but to submit the vector as is. My old computer has illustrator but can't take many layers before it crashes on me. So no more vectoring from me for a while

Considering this was a rushed job towards the end, and it's my first celebrity male vector, I'm okay with this. I usually pay attention to little details where I can, but this time I really had no time to do so.

The hair is supposed to be like that. I wanted to keep the appearance the original had, where he had mostly pitch black roots and a few strands towards the front that were able to catch some of the lighting coming from the right.

I tried to go with fewer layers on the skin, but still keeping the layers organized. It was really hard to get the lighting right because in the original, the left side was almost completely in darkness, while the right had a lot of light. So the transition between the two contrasts proved to be very difficult to vector.
